Chuck on your old clothes and join us for the first installment of our new DIY series – the ‘Easy As’ Paint night at Mitre 10 MEGA!

In what promises to be a heap of fun, we’ll enjoy some refreshments as Mitre 10’s paint experts share their tips and tricks for achieving a great wall, window and trim finish - including everything from surface prep, paint type, drying times, to brush and roller cleaning.  

After we soak up some fresh knowledge (enough to be dangerous), we’ll all cut loose with a paint brush and have a go ourselves, practicing cutting in, trim painting, cleaning technique and of course judging each other’s handiwork.

Turn up to the paint zone at Mitre 10 MEGA from 5.30pm (it's a hard left all the way to the end as you come in the front entrance), the lesson will start at 6pm and we should be done by 7.30pm. The ticket includes nibbles, practical materials, a take-home paint brush and a complimentary beverage. Remember to bring your old clothes! You don’t want semi-gloss top coat on your work chino’s - trust me I’ve been there.

We’ll have a look at the interest, looking at doing a wallpapering night shortly too if this goes well.
